It is feasible that hypnosis might be much more efficient amongst ladies than among men (or vice-versa). In spite of the countless constraints, this was a fairly early study with a moderate example dimension and gave some preliminary evidence showing that hypnotherapy may be useful for weight reduction among obese females. Results showed that all ladies lost a considerable quantity of weight-- regardless of whether they remained in the hypnosis-only OR the aversion treatment plus hypnotherapy team. Moreover, there were no significant distinctions between each of the groups-- indicating that aversion therapy may have been worthless as a weight loss accessory.
